Surnames: Grove, Groff, Graf
Hello John, I am a "Grove" in Stark County, Ohio. We are stuck in our ancestry search on our Great grandfather. Apparently he changed the name from another form. We always thought it was either Groff or Graf, prior to the change. I am a participant in the Nat. Genographic DNA project and had a close DNA comparison hit from a person with Grills in their past European family background. My Grt. Grandfather's middle name was Laird. Are you aware of a George Laird Grill from Pa.who may have changed his name when he came to Ohio? Tom Grove
