GRIMALDI – Robert J. Grimaldi, 49, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (October 20, 1979) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after several months illness. A native of North Tonawanda, he had been employed by the North Tonawanda Board of Education as Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds for the past sixteen years and was a member of St. Albert the Great R.C. Church. He was a member of the North Tonawanda Hall of Fame, the Eldredge Club, the Renaissance Club and Dom Polski Club and past officer of N.Y.S. Assoc. of Superintendents of Buildings & Grounds.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude (nee Zeitz) Grimaldi; two daughters, Linda E. and Kathryn A. Grimaldi and two sons, Patrick G. and Gary R. Grimaldi, all at home and his parents, Patrick F. and Mary Grimaldi of North Tonawanda.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Albert the Great R.C. Church in North Tonawanda Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Gerald J. Kreuzer will officiate. Burial at Resthaven Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Care Unit at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
