Seeking information on children of William Grippen, son of Jabez Grippen & Abigail Gilbert. He was born 1773 in Crippentown, NY.
I believe that he shows up in the 1850 census living with Alanzo and Mary Grippen in Saratoga NY. Alanzo, then 31(?) could be William's son or grandson.

Looking for information on John W. Grippen, son of Lyman L. Grippen and Mary Pidcock. John was born about 1860 in New Jersey, worked with Georgia Southern Railroad. He married Kathryn Bennett in 1896 in Clinton, Louisiana. John and Kathryn were living in Pelham, GA, in 1930. Did they have children? Where and when did they died?

Seek info on Alice Effie Grippin/Grippen born 6-1903. possibly Schenectady,N.Y. Also George Agustus Grippin her father. Alice was orphaned about age 5 or 6. Reference to an aunt "TUTTI" Alice, could read and speak some German.Any referance appreciated. 8 July 2000. end.

Sobrina born Sept 13,1788 was daughter of Nancy (who was Dutch and spoke no English).Nancy lived in NY in 1831and was between 50-60 yrs old at the time. Sobrina had 4 sisters..names not known..but one was married to a man named Harris and another married to a William Lindley. Sobrina was married first to a Jacob Jacox and had 1 daughter Lydia born in 1821.
