I am looking for my Great Aunt,Lisette Grob's, family in America.Lisette was born to Catharina Weiser and Johann Jacob Grob 3/1/1883 in Steinsfurt,Germany.My Grandma(Katharina Grob),Lisette's oldest sister,was born 5/30/1877,also in Steinsfurt.As Lisette's death of marriage, was not located on the Steinsfurt civil registries,nor the local parish records,we believe she may have immigrated here around 1900-10.She may have settled around Kankakee County In Illinois,where there were many Grob,and also Weikum relatives.She may have left the port of Bremen,Germany,and come into the country via Baltimore,Maryland.I have too much information about Lisette's family in Germany, to enter here.If you are interested ,please contact me at my e-mail;jlvanderpool@hotmail.com.
