Grodzki from Lomza Poland

My g,g,g grandfather came from Poland. His name was John Grocki (at least that what's on the census') and was born approximately 1861. He was married to Frances (Pokorska/Pokorny) Grocki. They had seven living children:John, Theodore, Felix, Marianna, Stanley "Jack", Bernard, and Steve. From what I understand, Theodore was born in Poland, so they had at least one child before leaving to America. Let me know if this helps and if you have any information.

Elizabeth

My great grandfather was Walter Grodzski. From what I understand he came to America as a young teen, from an abusive father who owned much land, business' in Poland. He married Sofie Nowicki and lived in Detroit. He owned Grocery, Hardware stores in Detroit during the depression. There was never much said about his family in Poland, other than his father was abusive. He passed away 30 some years ago at the age of 90. Hope this helps.

I have a Chaya or Anna Grudski/Grudsky born ca. 1865 in Bialystok. She married Avrum Routenstejn of Grodno. They died in WW2. Louis/Leon Redstone was one of their sons. He lived in Detroit. some members of her family immigrated to the U.S., Argentina and Uruguay-not sure of dates. May be a brother, Louis Gordon, in Detroit, a cousin to Louis, Wolf Grudsky who lived in Buenos Aires, married to Maria Fernanda. Wolf had 4 sisters. Thanks for any connections.
