Frank Groesbeck might have been born after 1903. During Orville Groesbeck's military service in the Philippines as a US Army officer, he married a filipina by the name of anastacia. They had 2 children. A daughter by the name of Saturnina Groesbeck born 1906 and a son (forgot his name). Saturnina is my grandmother. She married a filipino lawyer by the name of Pio Reyes. They had 6 children namely Federico (looks like Orville D. Groesbeck), Isnardo, Lino, Herman, Milburgo, and Iraida. Each one of them had tons of children except my father who is Milburgo. He only had me. When I was small, my dad used to tell me that Greatgrandfather Orville was abandoned by his filipina wife anastacia when she took off with the 2 children and hid from Orville. Orville went all over the Philippines searching for his 2 children but could not find them so he eventually went back to the US. Dad also said that military records showed that Orvilled remarried to an american lady named Rose and settled in San Antonio, Texas. I think my uncle Federico researched the military records. Orville has many great grand children from the Filipino family living in California.
