I am descended from this individual, among other Groff's. He is a son of Hans Groff & Susanna Kendig. Info I am seeking is the maiden name of his wife, Mary/Mary Ann. They married in teh 1730's, having among their other children, Anna, who married Christian Burkholder. These two are also ancestors of mine. Siblings of Anna include Barbara, Christian, and possibly a Daniel. Being that Daniel Sr didn't have immediate family with the name of Christian, I'm guessing he named his son after Mary's father, though I can't begin to guess who that might be. I've made a recent search of anyone named Christian who died in Earl Twp, but none of them were old enough to be her father. Family names included Wenger, Long, Sensenig and Graybill. I know she isn't a Witwer or a Holl, families who also lived in the area. Does anyone have an idea as to the identity of Mary's parents? Guessing they lived in eaither Ephrata, Earl, Warwick, or Leacock twps. Any help would be greatly and exceedingly appreciated.
