Somewhere in my family tree I have nearly every name that everyone posting messeges here are looking for. Don't know all the histories behind the names though. This is a very differcult name to research due to the large number of spellings of the name. An important alternate spelling is Gros-Louis, which was changed by some about 1790 to Grosleau, Groslos, Groslot and Groslouis. Further back in history it was LeGros. Gros-Louis, spelled with the hyphen links to nearly, if not all, of the Huron Chiefs. While spelled without the hyphen links to people of nearly every Tribe in Eastern Canada and Northeastern United States. DeLisle and Pichard are popular names conected to the family name by marriages. Jim jim@visi.net
