Trying to find proof about ancestors of
Nancy Groover, b. 1797 in VA, died 1857 in
Tipton Co. Indiana. Henry Harbit, d. 1858
I believe that Nancy Groover is daughter of
Isaac Groover, Sr. and Nancy Irvin who marr-
ied in Rockbridge Co. VA, 21 Oct 1794 but I
cannot prove her as the daughter and don't
know what happened to Isaac Groover. My
reason for this belief is Henry Nancy Harbit
named their first child (son) Isaac G.Harbit,
which I believe is Isaac Groover Harbit but
cannot prove his middle name. I can discuss
this more in detail if someone has infor-
mation on Isaac Groover/Nancy Irvin. Could
he be decended from the Georgia state family
of Groovers?
