My Rose was actually Rosa Anna Gross born about 1853 in Pennsylvnia. We don't believe she was ever married, however, there are no records to substantiate that. It is like her and her older brother just fell off the face of the earth. My mother does remember my grandma mentioning her Aunt Rose, but that is about all.
She was the daughter of John Gross and Lucy Walsh, Welsch,Welch...I have seen it all ways. Thank you for responding.
