HAYS -- Kenneth C. Gross, 72, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008. He was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Munjor, to Joseph J. and Rose (Pfannenstiel) Gross. Preceded in death by one brother; and one sister-in-law. Survivors: wife, Shirley of the home; four sons, Dr. Kirk M.D. and wife Lena of Dodge City, Kraig and wife Laure of Hays, Kent and wife Karla of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Klay and wife Mika of Wichita; four brothers; five sisters; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, at Cline's Mortuary, Hays. Vigil/rosary: 6:30 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
