SAM GROSS Sam GROSS, 87, the best father in the world, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Now he is with his darling wife, Irene. Sam built aircraft carriers for the Navy and was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie and Susan; granddaughter, Gina; and two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Adam. Sam will be dearly missed. The family will celebrate his wonderful life at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at his granddaughter's home.
