Hi,
I'm researching my Gross family. The first generation born in America is:
Jacob Gross b. m. Sabina/Lavina Dorothy Gross
Children:
1. John Gross [b. 1770 Northampton Co. PA]
m. Eva Marie Little
moved to NE Alabama (Jackson, Marshall)
2. Mary Gross [b. abt 1772 NC?]
m. Jacob Shultz
lived in TN (Claiborne, Sullivan, Sevier)
3. Catherine Gross
m. William Abraham DeVault
lived in TN
4. Elizabeth Gross [b. 1774 Sullivan Co., NC]
m. Henry DeVault
moved to IN
5. Jacob Gross [b. 1790 NC]
m. Sarah Farrington
lived in TN (Sullivan Co.)
6. David Gross [b. NC]
m. Jane (Sanders/Lynch?)
moved to IN (Sullivan Co.)
7. Sevender/Levender Gross
m. Lillian Ingle
8. Solomon Gross
9. Jonathan Gross
10. George Gross
11. Conrad Gross
Jacob Gross Sr. arrived in Northampton Co. PA in the 1750s (I believe). He and his family then moved to Rockingham Co. NC, Sullivan Co. NC/TN, and then settled in Claiborne Co. TN.
Any info on these families would be appreciated.
