      <title>Re: Henry Augustus Grothaus</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.grothaus/11.1/mb.ashx</link>
<description>An obituary for the wife of Francis Grothaus of Louisburg, Missouri, formerly of Selmore, Missouri appeared in the 18 January 1951 issue of Christian County Republican, Ozark, Missouri. It said they had moved to Selmore from Kansas in 1949 and recently moved to Louisburg; and that burial was in Smith Center, Kansas. The obituary did not give either Mrs. Grothaus's given name nor her maiden name. The 1930 census gave a Francis Grothaus age 24 and still single in the home of George and Ollie Grothaus in Smith Center, Kansas. Do you recognize this Francis Grothaus or know the name and/or approximate age of his wife who died in January 1951?</description>
