Hello! I began my tree this past weekend, and I ran into a wall as far as my great grandparents on the Groves' side. They are Ardie and Anna Florace Groves of Casey, IL. My grandfather was Ted L. Groves and eventually lived in Des Moines, IA. Great grandpa Ardie was a farmer with several mouths to feed when he felt he had the calling and went on the road to preach, The oldest brother Johnathan had to take the farm over because the family almost literally starved to death. There were several children, but the one who stands out the most(besides Granpdpa Ted) I never met-they called her Babe. She died in an accident when she tried to beat a train over the tracks. I figure there has to be folks out there looking for as many kids as there were. I would like to know if Anna's last name was Florace, or if that was a middle name. My dad doesn't know. If you are a relative and know the answer-please fill me in! I have not made my tree publoc because I am just filling in the last of my family on it.
