My grandmother had an aunt named Louisa Mangiere (daughter of Nicolo and Michelina Mangiere of Brooklyn). Louisa was born abt 1885 in NYC and was married to Stephen Guardino who was born in Italy.

Louisa and Stephen Guardino's children were my grandmothers cousins. Their names were Peter E., Nicholas J., Lillian, Louise, Stephen Jr. and Margaret (we think she later went by Marjory).

For many years, Stephen & Louisa lived at 8222 19th Ave in Brooklyn. The Mangiere family itself had a long history of living at the house across the street (8221 19th Ave) and my mother and grandmother have fond memories of that house. The families were always very large and very close so if you are one of the grandchildren of Stephen and Louisa let me know!

Just a sidenote but I just found out that Stephen Guardino and Peter Rinelli bought a Lot together at GreenWoodd Cemetery in Brooklyn, sometime before 1920. I think either they were related directly OR just good friends since Peter's daughter Anna married Joseph Mangiere, who was brother to Louisa Mangiere Guardino
