I've heard that you have done some research on the Gucks (Dan from the earlier post is my father). I'd be extremely interested in the information you have found if you are interested in sharing. I'm in the process of searching high and low for any information leading back to Germany. I've been able to track everything down leading back to the ship over which was all easy to find. From there everything is a dead end other than that Valentin Guck Sr. and family came from Oberbayern. If I can find out what town they came from I have the ability to contact churches in Germany to hunt down family lineage (churches in Germany kept excellent records). Any info would be greatly appreciated.
