Mateo Guerra was my uncle born in Arizona died in California, married to Herlinda Jory who also died in California, Children were Gilbert Guerra, Delia Guerra and Alfred Guerra all born in California. Gilber is deceased.
Mateo was my mothers brother

Hi,looking for descendants of my great-great grandfather,his name was martin guerra,his wife's name was sabina guerra,they had five children,domitila who was my grandmother,menecio,marcelo,teodoro and francisco guerra.they lived in anaheim,ca. in 1920.my mother's name is ramona,she was born in 1914,she was raised by the ogas family from 1923 to 1932 when she married my father.any information will be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I just read your response and I am so excited to hear from you. It is with a bit of sadness My mother pasted away this October always wanting to have some relations or communication with her fathers family. She always remembered him so fondly even if he passed so early in her life. However she leaves alot of us to also want some connection withour Guerra family. What I have on my family tree, if correct, are Sacareas Guerra married to Tomasa Bermudes around 1852;
one son Tomas Bermudes Guerra who married Claudia Lucero;
a son Anastacio Guerra born around 1853 who married Encarncion Lucero around 1882.
Their children are Isabela 1871, Beningo 1872, Salomon 1877, Ponfero 1879, Anastacia 1880, and Emilia 1883.
Emilia Guerra married Carlos Hernandez Gonzales, who is my father's father.
Their children are Charlie 1904, Manuela 1908, Alejandro 1910, Benito 1912, Jesse Ramon 1914 (my father), Jose 1916, Francisco ?.

My father's name is Jesse Ramon Gonzales. His mother is Emilia Guerra, grandfather Anastacio Guerra. I have the same names on my family tree of the 6 siblings you wrote about. My dad was born in Ysleta to Carlos Hernandez Gonzales and Emilia Guerra. I hope this information helps you. Please let me know what else you find.

I found out that Beningno Guerra is not my Great grandfather but my Great Uncle. Irineo Guerra and Conception Rios are my real great grandparents. Conception Rios died in 1928 and Irineo was not able to take care of the youngest children so he had his brother Beningno and wife Josefa Ozuna adopt his youngest children. I'm still trying to find more information, any help would be great.

Hello, I have a great-great grandfather named Francisco Guerra but I am unsure if there is a connection. I believe he was from Michoacan, Mexico.

Question, how were you able to trace back your ancestry? Was it threw this website? How were you able to search those records? Thanks I am in the process of searching my ancestry. I have gathered some information through interviews but would like to know more about possible places to search.

Hello I dont know anything beyond my father Who I also had a Father named Robert Guerra but he died in a car accident in early 1975 He was a Robert James Guerra I have know Idea who his father name was. someone told me his father was a RObert james guerra too but then that would make me the 3rd and not the second anyway

I am looking for his son's, Benjamin J. Guerra II, family in the USA. Benjamin Guerra II died in Louisiana in 1987. I believe he was buried in NYC.

of Zelienople, formerly of Avalon, died Monday morning, July 7, 2008, at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople. Born Oct. 7, 1924, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Rose Cristo Guerra.
He was a retired truck driver for Brake Drum in Lawrenceville.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the West View VFW.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth V. DiGioia Guerra, whom he married in May 1952;
a son, William F. Guerra and his wife, Ladonne, of Zelienople;
two stepdaughters, Shirley A. Buchsbaum and her husband, Ken, of Acme,
and Donna M. Harrold and her husband, Ken, of Espyville; three sisters, Teresa Ranieri,
Rose Hoehle
and Georgeanna DePhillips, all of Pittsburgh;
four brothers, Lou and Sam Guerra, both in Pittsburgh, James Guerra and his wife, Paula, of Bellevue, and Ernie Guerra and his wife, Georgeann, of Kennedy Township;

Augustine Guerra was married to Helen Ray Gordon around 1950 in Dallas, Texas. He had two children, a son in 1951 Donald Ray Guerra that died in December 1951 of crib death. He also had a daughter named Rita Lynn Guerra in 1952.He died in 1978 in Houston Texas. That is me and I am looking for my roots.Please help! Thank You!

I am not sure that this is a correct match, but some of your information fits mine. My Great Grandfather was Felipe Guerra. He married my Great Grandmother, Francesca Carbajal, about 1895 and had five children in Patagonia,Santa Cruz County, Arizona. He lived with the family until about 1910 when he abandoned the family and apparently took up a new life. Family rumor is that he had started a new family in California. He was born in approximately 1862 in San Antonio, Texas. Assuming this is a correct match, any nformation that you might have developed would be of interest. Mark

Thanks for the inquiry on Francisco Guerra. My relative was born in Ysleta, TX. and his father was Zacarias Guerra. Does that name match with your relative. I have found my information through this web site and by viewing census report trying to pull together the family tree. It take time and effort but worth every minute.

I am looking for relatives of Matteo Guerra came to ellis island in 1910. he married Giovannina Curcella daughter of Pasquale Curcella. They raised their family in Jersey city nj. I was told he was born in monte Sant'Angelo which is not too far from Lucera.

I came across your posting and noticed that you have 80 pages of Guerras that you have researched I am trying to locate my ancestors my grandparents who were born around 1895 to 1899 give or take a few years , there names were Crescencio Guerra and Margarita Pina Guerra they lived in greeley colorado in the 1920's to early 1930's my mothers name is Angelita she was born in 1929 and doing some research of my own I contact the church that my mother was baptized and they found a sibling of my mother that was also baptized there his name is Elias born around 1932 .my mother was given up for adoption around 1934 and knows nothing of her past .I would appreciate your time thanks Joe
