My ancestor Anne Guinan (born ?1829), was transported to Hobart Tasmania , Australia with her young daughter Ann (born 1842. They were transported from County Kildare in 1851 aboard the Black Friar. I don't know if Anne was unmarried at the time of transportation and her name was perhaps her spouse's name but I believe that this was her maiden name as she married in Tasmania in 1853. There is anecdotal evidence that her father was John and she had siblings called John, Thomas, Patrick and Bridget. Can any one help affirm her place in Kildare or her family in Ireland
