Surnames: Guinan, Haugh,
Our Guinans came from the Ballina and Killalie area of Tipperary/Clare. In 1838, my gggrandparents, Martin Guinan (b. ca 1818) and Winifred Haugh (b. ca 1816), both from the Townland of Scragg, were married in the Catholic church in Ballina. Their first child, Margaret was baptized there. Before 1848 they moved across the river to Clare to Townland of Corlea Commons in Feakle. In 1854 they lived in TL of Muingacarreen-now Flagmount/Killanea. Had at least 7 children: CMargaret, Ellen, John, Katherine, Martin, Patrick, Michael. Most if not all of the children emigrated to NY and settled in Gravesend, Brooklyn. See my earlier post and let me know if this connects. What years do you have your folks in Ballina & Killaloe?
