Grandmother "Alma Holland Kramer" said she was a distant cousin of Buffalo Bill Cody. She lived in Southern Indiana and I know that Buffalo Bill Cody was traveling by boat on the Ohio River (coming to southern Indiana) to visit relatives when she met Mr. Cody. I would be eternally grateful if there is anyone out there that can help me make the connection.
