I am looking for parents of Frederick Goodyear (Gutjahr) who was married to lena Hoffman or Helena Hauffmann in 1857 in New Orleans, La. Frederick worked on a supply tug boat by the name of the Boston when he was captured by the Confederate forces (1863-64) and brought to Andersonville Prison. If you have info, or could direct me to any information to find Frederick's family and birth place, I would be very grateful.
