My paternal grandfather, Henry "Hank" Colvin GWARTNEY was born in Winchester, KS on 5/25/1882. He died on 12/31/1930 in Douglas, WY. Between those events he was married twice. His first spouse was Nan Welch with whom he had three sons, one died in infancy. The marriage ended in divorce. Hank and his two sons moved to WY where GWARTNEY met and married his second wife, a widow, Lillie Fields, who already had four young daughters. Hank and Lillie produced four more children before Hank's death in 1930.
