Hello, I've changed my email and thought I would refresh the information that I originally put on this board.

I'm living in Scarborough now, was in Lindsay, and since I'm only a hop skip and a jump from the Markham and area cemeteries I would love it if somebody would send me the information on where the Haacke's settled up there and the names of the places they were buried.

I did have it all on paper, but some of my paperwork went into storage when I moved and I don't have it handy.

Hello, thanks to Mark Haacke I have discovered my Haacke roots and I just dropped in to say "hello". Mark and I are truly "42nd" cousins. I'm in the process of up-loading all the great info he has passed on to me as well as carry on business as usual.

My Grandfather was Lawson A. Haacke (died June 1967 in Huston, TX) - married to Nellie O. Nelson who died in 1955 in Port Huron, MI. One of his sisters names were Clara who had a daughter Zilpha. My father's name was Stanley Doyne Haacke and his brother was Nelson Raymond Haacke. Joe Haacke was another brother who was married to a woman named Elnara from Texas. He had other siblings, John and I don't remember more at this time.

My grandfather, Vivian Haacke, was the son of John Haacke, who was a son of Capt. David Haacke. Some information has surfaced that indicates Vivian had a twin named Gish, but our family was not aware of this. I would be interested in any information about Gish Haacke that anyone is aware of.

Elsie Moen was my grandmother, also Elsie Moore, and Haacke. Her brother was Frank, and her parents were Henry and Stella Rose Haacke. I'm pretty sure this information is correct, I'm just wondering if anyone could help me go back further in the generations. Thanks.

looking for info. about if there is a connection with Haacke & Hoecke. I'am looking for family of Fredrick Haacke or Fredrick Hoecke. are thes the same oerson. Some info. I have relate to each other. Fredrick Haacke came to the ua. in1896. His wife's name was Elizabeth Schneider, they had 5 children named: Walter,Charles,Marie,William, and Lena.

Debra, I do remember Aunt Myrtle. The last time I saw her was at my sister Doris Watson's on Range Rd. in Port Huron, MI during the 70's I think, at some party. She was with either her daughter or her granddaughter, I don't remember. I also remember from when we would have the Haacke family reunions when we were young. Did you ever attend one? I have some information about some of these reunions and pictures.

Gustav Haacke Born 9/9/1872 Dorum Germany
Fathers Name: Henry Mothers Name: Wihlheminna SoloomArrived/lived in New York 1888
One known sister: Anna Haacke Pulse
One known brother: William Haacke( DOB:1878)
One Son: Henry Haacke
Gustav Haacke married Bertha Anna Schildt (DOB:12/11/1873)

If anyone has any info that can help me, I sure would appreciate it!

My gggrandmother was Josephine Haacke. She was born in Berlin, Germany. Came to states by boat,but do not know where she landed. Understand she meet my gggrandfather in New York. I believe she came here with her family but they all died except for her mother. She married Forrest Handy and went to San Francisco, Ca. Any info out there?
