I am looking for any information that will solve a puzzle here on Mary Jane Haagenson. Her parents were Andrew and Adeline (bunker) Haagenson. She was born on 24 December 1893 in Roberts County South Dakota. Her father was in and out of the Yankton State Hospital a couple of times and her mother moved to Montana. Mary wound up in a catholic orphanage between1902 and 1906. She met her husband Roy Woods while she was there. If anyone can help me find any orphanges there between that time frame i would greatly appreciate the help.
Thank you
Pat

Haaganson or Haakenson

I am looking for any information on Anotonette (Anresdatter/Arneson) and her descendants. She was born March 20, 1863 in Norway and died March 9, 1955 at a hospital in Rice Lake, Barron County, Wisconsin. She married Benedikt Gulbrandsen on April 3, 1883 in Furnes Parish, Hedmark, Norway. He was born Sept 15, 1853 in Holen, Furnes Parish, Hedmark, Norway and died April 23, 1885 in Holen, Furnes, Parish, Hedmark,Norway and buried there. His parents were Gulbrand Børeson and Pernille Oldsdatter. She then married Peter(Peder) Haagenson on November 2, 1889 in Furnes Parish, Hedmark, Norway. He was born June 7, 1857 in Bakkisven, Vang, Hedmark, Norway. He died May 25, 1944 in Dovre Township, Barron County, Wisconsin and is buried in the Dovre Lutheran Church Cemetary, Dovre Township, Barron County, Wisconsin. They came to America in the 1890's I believe. Antonette had a niece Beathe Anreson who married Hans Pinnerud. Antonette is also related to the Anreson's who settled in Dovre Township, Barron County,Wisonsin. Antonette and Benedikt Gulbrandson had two sons George Benedickson and Alfred Benedickson. I have information on Alfred, but very little on George. George may have died in Marion, Indiana. Antonette and Peter(Peder) had at least five children: they are Andrew(Anders) who married Sadie, Haagen who married Inga Reiten, Lena who married Vaunley Lynch, Oline who was born and died in Norway, Ole who married Elvina and may have moved to Minnesota, and Benedik. I have some info but not much on any of these people anyone who can help it is greatly appreciated. I am wiling to share whatever info I have on the Haagenson's with anyone who can help me.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Pam Smith
who can also e-mail me at pamelassmith@hotmail.com

Hi, obviously I am doing some family research and have hit a road bloack with the Haagensons. Eline (spelled many different ways- Ellen, Ellena) was born somewhere in Norway September 1863 and emigrated in 1887. She married Christian Lunde in Rugby ND and they lived in North Dakota as far as I know. I believe Bern is Eline's brother. If you can give me any family connections I would greatly appreciate it.

Carla Safigan
carla@safigan.com
