My girlfriend,Ruth is the daughter of Edith Mary Haak(Pettit) who is the daughter of Jacob Haak and Jennie Meins.Jacob Haak is the son of Isaac Haak and Maria(Mariae)O. Vasseur.Thankyou for the info as to Isaac's and Maria's parents. I haven't been able to trace back to her grandfathers and grandmothers family,who came here to NY from Holland. She is very interested in finding out more of her Dutch ancestry and any relitives she may have here in the States with in the Haak/vasseur/meins families.
