I would appreciate hearing from anyone located in the Spokane WA area that may know of is IS related to Haakensons. I have secured more information about my family ( See Canadian branch of Haakenson...) and have learned that my aunt knows that she had a cousin living in Spokane WA at one time.
The name may be changed, mine was changed to Hawkinson, but I have very little other information,
My grandfather's name was Christian Haakenson, he had a brother named Lawrence and one named Arthur ( could be Artur) and any information would be greatly appreciated.
I am attending a family event in Saskatchewan this summer and hope to have more information to use to trachour family history.
This family originated in Minnesota and has relatives in the Chicago area as well.
