My name is Monica Niskanen and I happened to find
ancestry.com by going to Google and typing in my
grandfather's name, Onni Haapala. I found the site
http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/message/an/surnames.haapal...
where my grandfather's name and birthday was
presented. I then looked on the website more and found
another link to: Myllymäki- Aho connection where my
grandmother, Helvi Katri Eemilintr. o.s. Aho, is
listed. I thought all this was pretty weird because I
have a huge family, grew up in Florida but lived in
Finland myself for 2 years, and happened to stumble
upon this information. I am fluent in Finnish and can
read and write the language.

I would really appreciate any more information you
have or information I can provide to you about my
family. I am the daughter of Lea Niskanen (maiden name
Haapala) who is the daughter of Onni Haapala and Helvi
Aho (maiden name).
