I have traced my HABER family back to small shtetl called Zurow. The closest town you'd find on a current map is Bursztyn or Rohatyn. There are some lines I have little information on.

We have gone as far back as Wolf HABER born about 1810. His wife's name was Rivka and they had 2 children we know of, Akiva Hersch and Schmuel. There is also Ruchel who married a Mr. Scheer who we suspect was a sibling but we have yet to prove this.

Most of the family left and immigrated to New York City in the early 1900s. Please contact me privately for more specific information.
