I am searching for information on Marie Dorothee Haberstock. According to church records here in Louisiana, she was a German from Pennsylvania. She married Andeas Meisch (Meche) also a German from Pennsylvania. From Pennsylvania to St. John The Baptiste Parish in Louisiana and then in the St.Landry-Acadia parishes area (once were considered one parish) near the town of Grand Coteau. One of their sons, Jean Baptiste Meche was born Juy 23,1773 and baptized in the Edgard Church on Aug. 9, 1773 with the sponsors being Jean Bouillon and Marguerite, according to the Archdiocese Of New Orleans. I have been unable to find any information on her. Any help would be greatlyappreciated.
