Dear Howard,

Sorry to hear of your Dad's death. How fortunate you were to have him for such a long time.

I have never been able to find anymore on my ggrandfather Patrick Hebron and I doubt that I will ever get to Ireland.

My condolences to you and your family.

My father Patrick Joseph Habron, son of Thomas Abraham, Grandson of Thomas Abraham. Born 10/2/1915 passed away on 31/12/2008.
Dad had a good life and served in the 2nd WW as a Commando.
He will be remembered.

The name has also been
Abraham
Abram
and appears to have originated in Ireland come to England then part of the family emigrated to America

In the course of my research I have found the surname Habron to be spelled Haborn, Habren, Haburn, Hayburn, Haybourn, and several other ways, even within the same family. It pays to check out any possible variation, and any surname that sounds alike.
