I need to make a correction. James Samuel and Maria Ann Bayliss (Baylis, Bayless) lived in Ray County Missouri, not in Clay as previously stated. Also have found land records that Maria Ann and James signed, and she signed her name as Ann Mariah Hackley. Just wanted to correct this and add this bit of info.
