My grandfather, Henry Clay Hadaway II was born and died in Rock Hall, MD. He lived to age 91, and fathered nine children, five of whom survived to adult-hood. He married Lillie Viola Walbert, also of Rock Hall. He was a waterman all of his life, and had a workboat named "Prowler". He was a handsome young man, with black hair, bright blue eyes
He never owned a car, and walked everywhere he needed to go. He was very tall and erect. His children's names were:
Irwin, Leonard Alfred, Daisy Ethel (Stevens), Maude (Berger) and Warren Nye Finney Hadaway. Warren has a son living in New Jersey, whose name is also Henry Clay Hadaway IV, and tells me he has researched the Hadaway family. More information needed about ancestors and where they originated.
