COLUMBIA BASIN HERALD, MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON STATE
Patrick James Haddican II, our beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend passed away Sept. 29, 2006. He was born May 18, 1962 to Patrick and Victoria Haddican. He attended Lakeview and Larson Heights Elementary, Chief Moses Junior High School and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1980. Patrick served in the United States Navy from 1981 to 1991. While in the service Patrick met the love of his life Natalia Alvinez. They were married June 25,1983. Jessica Lynn Haddican joined their family on July 26, 1984. Patrick James Haddican III (P.J.) joined their family on Dec. 11, 1985. Pat was a devoted and loving husband and father.
Patrick loved the outdoors and spent numerous hours hunting and fishing with his family and best friend Rob Silvernale. Patrick also loved to keep in touch with his family and called them all at least once a week.
Patrick was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1990. Pat fought his battle with this disease with strength and dignity. In his heart he truly believed that one day a cure would be discovered for Multiple Sclerosis and that he would be able walk with his family again.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Natalia; his loving children, Jessica and P.J. Patrick is also survived by his parents Patrick, formerly of Enderlin, N.D. and Victoria (Swanson), formerly of Tower City, N.D., now of Moses Lake. Patrick is survived by his sisters, Lita Child of Spokane, Kellie and (Glenn) Burdick of Spokane, Kara and (Vance) Wing of Richland, one brother Jody and (Michele) Haddican of Moses Lake and nine nieces and nephews and one great niece. Patrick is also survived by his uncles Ken Swanson and Gordon Swanson of West Fargo, N.D., Mike and (JoAnn) Haddican of Roseburg, Ore., aunts Carol and (George) Grindberg, Page, N.D., Mary and (Jim) Wheeler of Reedsport, Ore., and Elma Swanson of Moses Lake, numerous cousins and a large extended family in Bremerton and the Philippines.
A memorial to honor his life will be Friday, Oct. 6, 2006 at 10 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, located at 200 N. Dale Road, Moses Lake, WA.
