First off if you are who I think you are, I went to grade school and to high school with you.
Unless otherwise noted information that I have provided is from a publication entitled "Lutheran Churches of Bois Brule & Salem Townships". It contains baptism, confirmation and burial records from Salem-Farrar, Trinty-Point Rest and Zion Crosstown. When I refer to Salem, Trinty or Zion I am referring to one of these churches.
May not have anything new.
First about Heinrich (Henry) 1891-1947
*married Marie K (Mary) Stelling 1876 or 1877-1956
*married 1896 at Salem
*both buried at Salem
*Heinrich confirmed at Salem 1886
*in confirmation record for Heinrich there is a notation of "b at Altenburg"
*in marriage records for Heinrich a notation of "From Ulm, AR" for Maria a notation of "From here" no listing of witnesses
For Heinrich's offsprings I find this interesting
Lydia baptized ????? confirmed at Trinty
Emma bap Salem conf Trinty
Henry Jr bap Salem conf Trinty
Bertha bap Salem conf Trinty
Emanuel bap Salem conf Trinty
Ernst bap Salem conf Trinty
Arthur bap Salem conf Trinty
Edwin bap Trinty
Clara bap Trinty conf Trinty
Erna bap Trinty conf Salem
Thelma bap Trinty conf Salem
*in the confirmation record for Lydia there is a notation of "b & bap Farrar"---however not listed in the baptism records of Salem
*in the burial records of Salem for Lydia (Hadler) Lohmann there is a notation (neatly hand written before publication) of "born in ULM AR"
My comment: I guess that at some point in time at least 1896-1897 (Emma baptized at Salem in 1898) Heinrich lived in Ulm AR. Perhaps Dietrich moved there after his wife passed away.
Wlll send some HATLER information in a day or so.
