Hello Forum members,

I am a radio collector, and if I find a name written on a radio chassis, I come here in hopes of getting some additional information to keep with the radio. Call it radio genealogy!

I picked up a 1942 Zenith console radio at a flea market in Boucksville, NY. It had "Walter A. Haefele" written on the chassis, which was done by a repairman when he took the chassis to his shop for repairs.

There was a town written on it as well, but it was smudged. I could see the first three letters was "SEA...." I think it might be Sea Cliff, Nassau County, NY.

Any additional infomation on Walter is most appreciated!!!
