I live in NE Iowa near Gunder where John Haga Anderson lived/farmed and is buried. I was looking for my Anderson relatives and John Haga Anderson was one name that came up - I saved his information - then recently discovered he was the grandfather of my husband's aunt's husband - I called him last night - he and his wife live in AZ - he told me some stories- I have also found the notice of John Anderson Haga's death in the Elgin Echo archives [12/26/1901 edition] and the obituary of his last [3rd] wife Mrs. Malline J. Anderson b. 2/8/1845 d. 10/20/1930. Both are buried in the Marion Lutheran Church cemetery in Clayton County, Marion Township, Gunder, IA. I know the location of the Haga/Anderson farm.
