I'm tracing my maternal family tree, and I did the maternal dna test. The maternal dna test didn't match anyone in the database and I had a very unusual haplogroup result. I am hoping to learn more about Tillie, my Great-Great Grandmother, her husband, Nicholas, and her two daughters.

I have several census records, her marriage certificate, her death certificate, and her obituary. She had two daughters, Ella (married Foster Root) and Mayme Annie Bertha (name?)(married Ole Hagen).

Here are some of the things I'm hoping for:
1) To get in touch with anyone that has any pictures (I don't know anything about Ella's sister...I only have one picture of Ella when she was older)
2) Find a Steichen Family History Book if one was done
3) Tillie's obituary said she had a sister in Montana, but no name was listed. I would like to find her.
4) Tillie was buried in the Catholic cemetery. I would like to find her church records.
5) I haven't been able to find immigration or naturalization records for Tillie. Her father was Simon Olson/Oleson. I don't know the name of her mother or any other family members.
6) Any stories or information about how the family lived. Did the live in town? Did they farm? Did she play the piano? Was she a quiet woman? Was Nicholas quiet or social? etc.....
7) Contact any other maternal relatives if they want to chat about the maternal dna test.
