I would like to hear from descendants of David and Margaret HAIG, who were living at Hamilton, Northumberland, Ontario in the 1881 Canadian Census. Among their children were Alexander McDonald, Isabella, Andrew, William, Donald, and Jessie. Two of my Elliot relatives married into this family. Jean Elliot married Rev. Alexander McDonald Haig and Margaret Elliot married Donald Haig.
