Mary Adelaide Haile b 1845/6 in TN married Jefferson Blufford Hancock 1870 in Grayson TX
Father-Thomas Francis Haile b 1816 in Tn d 1865 in Northern POW Camp (Camp Chase, OH)
Mother-Elizabeth Nancy Gibson b 1818 in KY d 1895 Jackson TN
Elizabeth's father (possibily William born 1796)in VA
Elizabeth's mother (possibly Sally, b 1796) in KY
I believe that the Indian came through Mary's mother Elizabeth.The only thing I'm fairly certain of regarding Elizabeth's parents is their place of birth. And of course that could be wrong.

If anyone has heard suggestions, rumors, hints, anything whatsoever connected to Native American ancestry, please let me know. So far I haven't been able to verify what I heard growing up, but I'm going to keep trying.
