Edith Mae HALBERT WIGGINGTON passed into the loving care of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Bryan Texas on October 13th, 2006 after living for almost 104 years. She was a fathful member of the Church of Christ for 90 years and attended the A&M congregation for the past four years moving from DALLAS and the Edgefield congregation in Oak Cliff. She was born November 21, 1902 to Leona Lee LONG and William Eli HALBERT of Kaufman County. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter WIGGINGTON in 1990. Edith will b buried at Fox Cemetery east of Kaufman on Tuesday October 17th at 11am. Her only child Betty Garrett lives in Bryan Texas with her husband William J Garrett. Edith is survived by her loving granddaughter Cynthia Ann Paul of University Park, and four great grandsons: Jay Garrett Paul of DALLAS, Travis Bryan Paul and Jed Alexander Paul both of Austin, and Clay Austin Paul who is attending TAMU-G. The Lord in His grace loved her and gave her comfort all the days of her life and she let His ight shine always serving and caring for others. What a blessing she has been to us.
