Henry Halder, b. about 1810 in Switzerland, came to America with Mary Burns Halder, his wife and Henry C Halder, b 8 March 1843 in Belgium, his son, prior to 1847. She d. 1853 leaving 4 sm children. Shortly after her d, Henry married her sister Martha Burns, b 1824 in Switzerland. Martha was born in Hesse Castle and left a will leaving her Swiss inheritance to her 3 grandchildren.
