I have been tracing back the Halfhill roots and I know that my line of Halfhills are from Northern Germany. The name Halfhill was originally Halbhugel (the u has an umlaut). Does anybody else on the board know of this orgin of their name?

Also I know that alot of my Halfhill settled in OH, PA and a couple to KY. My father David Halfhill from Claremont county OH has lived all over the US and we now all live in Canada.

Please help me out. I have the Halfhill tree in Canada 100% organized because we are the first and only Canadian Halfhill's.
