My great grandfather Friedrich Haller sailed from Bremen in his teens to settle in Texas. He eventually ran cattle, and one of his brands is on display at a museum in Hondo, Texas. Friedrich's oldest daughter, Johanna, married a a German immigrant named George (or Georg in German)Martin. Johanna and George gave birth to my grandmother, Ella Martin. My middle name is Ellas, in recognition of my grandmother Ella, who eventually married Stephan Ray Sexton of Arizona. Was wondering if anyone else using this site may be related
