I personally only have information from William Halls and Jane Rawlinson/Rawlingson/Rowlinson who arrived in Australia around 1883. I have information on their family, including George, Isabel, William (my great grandfather) and further descendents. I have been in contact with Jenni Hall very recently who is a descendent of George Halls, if you like to pass on your email address to me I will pass it on to you. My relative Madge Mary STORER (1915-1960) married in Bairnsdale in 1936 William Albert HALL (1908-1955), whose parents are George HALL and Celest Maud ALBERT. I am very interested to discover the descendents of Madge and William as they are my cousins. I am also very interested generally in the HALL family of Bairnsdale because I had friends called Hall from Bairnsdale, including a Tracey, hence it would be good to know if there is any connection. Any help that you can give me with Madge and William's descendents and Hall descendents in Bairnsdale is greatly appreciated.

Hi, just been looking through the messages and came across yours. I am related to George Halls, though e name is jus Hall now. George was my fathers, grandfather.
George married Celeste Maud Albert on the 24th december 1902 in Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia. They had 9 children. Their 4th child, Allen Clement Hall was my Grandfather. His 2nd child, Leonard Arthur Hallis my father, still alive, then me, Jennifer Margaret Hall and my brother Benjamin Charles Hall. The next generation is ny nephew, Jack Benjamin Hall.
George died in 1956 in Orbost, Victoria, Autralia.
From the 1881 English census until he married in 1902 I do not have any information. I'm looking but am not having any luck. I wasn't aware that any siblings were born in Australia (i had a brother down as Edward(John) and that William and Jane had come here. Did Arthur marry a Grace Russel or Saviage? I knew of Isabella through the 1881 census. My grandmother had heard that there had been 2 sisters who married brothers. Th other sister I think was calles Maude.

Thomas appears to have been born the same year as William , which is possible and may indeed be a brother but more likely a cousin. As we have no address of birth for Thomas unless you do of course ?? I cannot definitively confirm a link either way but I can confirm Williams brother as being a Robert Halls who married Ann Norman and his Father was logically also a Robert but that is as far as I managed to go

I am researching the Halls family, as my wife's maiden name was Halls. Sorry I can't help with William, but one Halls I have, Thomas, was born in Colchester in 1818. He married Harriet Silvester there in 1848. Harriett died at Great Amwell Hertfordshire in 1860. From at least 1861-64 he was Superintendant of the New River Works in Hertfordshire still living at Great Amwell. He died about 1868 leaving a son George in relatives' care. I am looking for the relatives of Philip Halls b. 1791, d. 1846? I am specifically interested in finding information about his brothers/sisters, and his daughters Mary and Charlotte. I suspect that some of his brothers or newphews/nieces came to Canada and settled in southwestern Ontario.

Regarding his daughters I am trying to find out who they married, and if they also came to Canada. I know that all of his sons came to Canada and settled in southwestern Ontario in the late 1840's.

Does anyone now anything about Herbert Hall (age 37) married to Eliza (age 38) living at Havering Atte Bower in the 1901 census. They have 4 sons George Herbert Halls (age 13), Robert Stanley Halls (age 8), Charles Halls (age 6) & Arthur Halls (age 3) and 1 daughter Agnes Mabel Halls (age 11). Herberts father is George Halls (born Abt, 1816). Herbert had a brother Authur (born Abt, 1856) and 2 sisters Mary (born Abt, 1860) and Alice (born Abt, 181867). George Herbert Halls went on to marry Elizabeth sarah Maxfield July 1920. They had 2 boys George Herbert Edwin Halls (born April 1921) and Edwin Arthur Halls (born December 1922). It would be wonderful to here from anyone with information and especially relatives.

I have numerous references to several williams in the Colchester area all are Halls as far as I can be certain I have william s born respectively in 1883. 1854 ish (brother of my interest who is James and his father I think who was also william born c 1818 and who married Rosina although there is a semi link to London where one old newspaper report I have, says James was born in London although for whatever reason came back to Colchester. The fact that he had 11 children is a clue I suppose

Is anyone researching this HALL family? I am looking for the family of John HALL born about 1778-79 in Middleton Stoney, Oxrfordshire. Here are two censuses where he is found in Doddington, Cambridgeshire with wife Charlotte, where it indicates he was born in Middleton Stoney, Oxfordshire. They may be my 3rd G-Grandparents.

The 1851 census taken on 30 March 1851, Dyke Moor, Doddington lists this HALL family:

Looking for descendants of John Hall or Halls. I have different information when he was born as per the England Census -either 1805 in Essex or 1810 in Shudy Cambs.

Had various children: Hannah, Robert, Sarah, Thomas, Lydia, David (my great great grandfather), Jane, George and Susan I believe.

On one census it has him married to a Berlinda but on another year Lucy. A bit confused.

Hello, I am an ancestor of the above, born about 1806. I understand he was married to Belinda Corder. His son Robert Halls and Lydia Cowell were my 2xgreat grandparents. Their son William Halls was my great grandfather and his son Arthur Edward Halls(born in Australia) was my grandfather. William and Jane Rawlingson had two sons, George Halls born 7 May 1877 and Arthur Edward as above. They also had a daughter Isabella born about 1879 in Tottenham Ln UK.
