––––– •–––––JOHN T. HALLUM, 82, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Woodland Hills Health Care in Jacksonville. The son of George J. and Cora Tucker Hallum, he was born May 7, 1924, in Hatley, Ark. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the West Side Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife Grace Hallum and was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters. Survivors include his son, John Michael Hallum of Noel, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Bob Kemp of Ward, Ark.; four grandchildren, John Troy Kemp of Maumelle, John Charles Hallum of Pottsville, David Scott Kemp of Ward, Gregory Paul Hallum of Charleston, S.C.; three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Wesley Hallum, Tristen Kemp; brother, Donald Hallum of Wylie, Texas.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Humphrey Chapel. Mr. Bruce Grice and Mr. Dan Lightfoot will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be Saturday, 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
