Does anyone know something about Derk Jan Hamberg (born 29-3-1833 in Ambt Hardenberg, Overijssel, the Netherlands) and Zwane Klompmaker (born November 1839 in Emlichheim, Germany)? They emigrated from the Netherlands (Schoonebeek, Drente) to North America (probably Michigan) on 5-8-1868. At the time they had 2 children: Frederika (born 9-2-1865) and Gerrit (born 20-12-1867).
