My ancestor, Johann Casper Hamburger, was born betw 1725-1739 in Frankfurt am Maine, Germany.

His son, Jonas, went to England & married Mary Dunnage there in Dec 1793. Jonas returned to Frankfurt in 1836.

Jonas' son, Wilhelm Henrich married Jeanne De St Hippolyte in London in 1824. They sailed on the "Harmony", arriving in Australia in Sept 1849.

Two of their sons were my great great grandfathers as first cousins, William & Sarah Hamburger (my great grandparents) married on 2 March 1877 in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
