I am looking for any information on William W. Hames who was born ca. 1816 in Union County SC. I would also like data on his wife. According to death certificates of his children and to the 1870 and 1880 census, he went by William, William W., and Billy Hames and was married to Mary Reed or Mary Reid. The last reference I have to him is the 1880 census. Mary was living with a daughter in Spartanburg in 1900.

Someone online has listed William's middle name as Wesley, but I have found no verification for this.
