I am a descendent of a Samuel Hamill who married Katherine Best and lived in Blount Co. TN. I have different leads as to who his fahter was...a Robert from Atrim Ireland, or a James. Also, my grandfather, Milo Wyrick Hamill(b. 1888) left a note in the family Bible saying that his GGGrandfather was a David Hamill from Belfast, Ireland which is very near Atrim.
